● The Real Love Boat is CBS’ new dating adventure competition series, inspired by “The Love Boat,” the hit scripted series in the ‘70s that used Pacific Princess and Island Princess as its setting.
● The Real Love Boat brings singles together to sail the Mediterranean on a luxury cruise ship while looking for love.
○ Contestants will be visiting and competing in some of the world’s most beautiful cities, including Barcelona, Marseille, Rome, Santorini, Athens and more.
● The Real Love Boat is filmed onboard Regal Princess.
● Throughout the season, Singles embark on destination dates and compete in challenges to test couples’ compatibility and chemistry, while earning valuable rewards.
○ The romantic waters will be tested when new Singles come aboard, and those who don’t find a match will “Shove Off” and be left behind at port.
● After nearly one month at sea, one winning couple will dock in the final port and take home a cash prize plus a once-in-a-lifetime trip courtesy of Princess Cruises, the series’ exclusive cruise line partner.
● The inaugural season of The Real Love Boat is hosted by real-life celebrity couple, Rebecca Romjin and Jerry O’Connell
● The series sets sail Wednesday, Oct. 5 9/8c, following Survivor and leading into The Amazing Race, to create the Network’s all-reality night.
